SÉ DE VILA REAL

The Cathedral of Vila Real or Church of Santo Domingo is located in Vila Real, Portugal. Built in the fifteenth century, it is considered the best example of Gothic architecture in Tras-os-Montes region.
As its name indicates, the current cathedral originates from a Dominican convent founded by monks coming from Guimarães in the fifteenth century in extramural Vila Real area in Tavolado field.
This project, included in the more comprehensive design of the building rehabilitation, was the creation of a metal frame for the placement of a new organ.
Project Manager: Architect Jorge da Costa.
