The Church of St. John the Baptist Church or Vila do Conde Matrix is located in the city of Vila do Conde, district of Porto, in Portugal. It is one of the most important monuments of the city and one of the most significant in the Manueline style in the country, presenting elements of Gothic and Renaissance architecture.

The tower clock was extremely degraded so we designed a new one. We wanted to make a modern object, not imitating the old clock style, but we also wanted to draw a simple object that did not compete visually with the decorative elements of the tower that dates back to 1573. The result is a slim stainless steel clock with a faint light behind it.
